On the south-western part of the island, we find the area Nova. This is a newly developed tourist area with beautiful homes, surrounded by flower-filled gardens.

The coast is mostly rocky with few man-made berths for boats. There are suitable swimming areas for all ages and tastes - small-secluded areas or shallow pebble bays. Fishermen are a frequent sight. All of Nova is south facing, so all houses have beautiful views of the islets of Trstenik, Mali and Veli Prznjak, and of the island of Lastovo.
