Etno collection Barilo

Blato is one of the oldest towns on the island. Blato is on distance 7 km from Vela Luka. Old stone houses and citadels are scattered over 7 hills. Through the centre of the town runs the oak-tree lined main road. BARILO ethno house is in fact the museum of this family’s everyday life.

 It is also a museum of Blato’s history as well as the history of the whole island of Korčula. Everything is begin 30 years ago with reconstructive of family heritage. Today in Barilo you may see over the 2000 exponents (items from every day use during past).

During the viewing there is cake tasting original from this area, liqueur and brandy; all locally made.
